We have a new mother who had 5 babies yesterday. Is it normal for her to continue pulling her hair even though it has been 24 hours since kindling?

Yes that's completely normal. Some does continue to until kits leave nest others stop after 48 hours and some don't pull much at all.

Thanks, it seems like she does it right before she goes in to nurse. So glad it is nothing to worry about
