Where do you fit in the continuum?
I never have been a "morning person", and that's probably partly why I have moved so well into a 3rd shift position. I really don't ever want to work a day job again. I've always been a little anxious in the intensity of the daytime hustle and bustle, and night jobs generally are more low-key.
I love leaving work at 7 am, and going to the grocery, and getting whatever else I need to get done, without crowds, and then I can come home, and relax, and enjoy some daytime, before going to bed.
I'm curious of any other 3rd shifters out there, and how you structure your life? I work 11 pm to 7 am, and don't go to bed until around Noon or 1 pm, and sleep about 4 hours, get up, putter around, and then go back to bed around 8, for a two hour nap before getting back up around 10, to shave, shower and go back in to work.
