Hi,I am new to this so here goes.My 12 year old son has 2 rabbits(both girls)

1 is a lop eared rabbit who is had the moment in a grump,it has been like

this since Sunday,it just sits outside in 1 place all day, yesterday she bit my

son when he was giving her grass,is she likes this because it is the breeding

season? She is always getting on top of the other one.My son has had them for

3 years,he looks after them well,i know she can be jealous and a bit of a bully

to the other rabbit(who gets her back the next day),he asked me to come on here

as he is at school,he is a bit worried about her,he said her face looks sad.

Any help would be grateful.

Hey Feededer! Welcome to the forum!

Has your rabbits been spayed? That is thebest solution to this aggression :) I have a female Holland lop whoalso isn't spayed and she attacks me every chance she gets! When arabbit mounts it usually means that they are just showing dominance andteaching the other on who is boss :) Though I can understand it isn'tvery pleasant to see two females doing that to each other.:shock:Have the females been fighting recently? Or is it justthat she attacked your son?

I would separatethem for now, just to make sure they are safe. And I would spay them assoon as possible, this really will cut down on the dominance andhormones that are going on right now :)
