For all the people on here in Aus if I can find a FERMINATOR at a decent price would you all want to get one? I know that the export prices and taxes are crazy if you are trying to order from Amazon in the US/Canada etc.

Definitely skip the flat rate box for a Furminator! Out of UPS, FedEx and USPS, first class international is always the cheapest way to mail anything under 13 oz to another country .

I just weighed my Furminator (the one for long haired cats under 10 lbs) - it weighs 4.6 oz without any sort of packaging. Anything from 4.1-8.0 oz going from the US to Australia costs $11.48 to ship via first class mail (after 8 oz it increases to $13.41), assuming the postage was purchased online. A brown envelope (well-reinforced with clear packing tape) or pretty small box would keep the weight to no more than 8.0 oz. A small international flat rate box (ie priority mail) costs $23.50 to ship to Australia.
