Hey,
Tonight I’ve noticed my bunny has got a missing patch of hair on the inner corner of her eye and has a bit of wetness. There’s no pus or blood it’s just pink from the missing patch of hair. She’s a mini lop and is 1 and a half years old, there have been no changes to her diet and she’s still going to the toilet normally and still quite active and playful – she’s currently doing binkys around the room. I give her a mite treatment once a month.
I was concerned about myxo but the rest of her body including ears and genitals are fine.
She isn’t squinting and doesn’t seem too bothered by her eye at all (she’s not scratching or rubbing her eye at all).
She does get wetness on her inner corners occasionally and is an over-groomer, I’m hoping she’s just accidentally ripped some dried hair out due to the wetness but I’m unsure.
I’ve attached a photo of her eye, any advice would be appreciated. Is it worth the vet appointment or am I overreacting? Thank you
Let me know if I have missed anything.
