I have a tri mini rex doe that I have tried and tried to breed about four times to three different males she WILL NOT BREED!! Her sister is a really nice brood doe. Does anyone have any suggestions?:)

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

How often have you been trying her? I have been told if you are having troubles getting a doe to breed to swop her and the buck hutches so she gets his scent from his hutch. I haven't tried it yet I have to admit I usually try a couple of times a day with the buck till it brings her to lift.

How often do you try? Did you check her vulva to see if she is receptive? Is it dark red and swollen? You should really check her every day or every other day.. If she isn't showing receptive signs, you can try a 1/2 teaspoon Wheat germ oil in her feed, daily for 5-7 days. You can also try Apple cider vinegar in her water (1/2 teaspoon per quart).

Put her in with the buck as soon as she looks receptive.

thing with Parkay is she allows the buck to breed her, but she never takes,
I know this might be confusing but Rae is my 'other half'the two of us raise rabbits together. My mini rex doe, Poppy (She's got the babies now that I have pictures of up)is Parkay's sister.
Parkay sticks her butt up and lets the males breed, but then she never takes.

How old is she? Has she ever had a litter? Does she look "ready" when she accepts the buck?

Edited to add:
How many times does the buck mount her? Do you take her back to him 8 hours/10 hours/ 24 hours later? Are the three bucks proven with other does?

Rae's out of internet right now, but he mounts at least 3 times, if not 5 and breeds her, and they stay together for 24 hours give or take a little. she sticks her butt up and is ready, she's 2 1/2 right now. She's been with proven buck and unproven boys. The proven that she's been with had a litter with her sister(my girl), a couple of years ago, unless this is a different buck, not sure. I know she's got a black buck, a black otter buck, broken blue(he's just a baby though)and I think she alwo used a broken Blue that a friend of ours owns and still nothing. I offered to bring my blue boy over as well to let them breed, Eddy loves the ride.

I know Twix was proven out with Poppy, and she tried breeding Parkay with Twix and same thing happened, she was willing but didn't produce. I know she wasn't bred young, she was 9 or 10 months before she was bred the first time. It was too late into the fall to try and bred her the first time, I have a heated shed, whereas Rae didn't at the time. That's why Poppy was able to be bred on first heat cycle and Parkay wasn't.
Does that help any?

I'm guessing that she may be one of those does that if not breed consistently, she stops producing. She may have built up fatty deposits around the ovaries or Uterine horns that prevents conception. You can keep trying with her, but after all this time, it may be unlikely that she will get pregnant.

If she hasn't had a litter before, then 2 is too old to be trying to breed her. If she did manage to get pregnant, you would have very high odds of pencil kits or even of stuck kits.

She may have ovarian cancer. My girl Candy had just weaned a litter a few months before I bred her again. Nothing. I tried for 6 months before I retired her. A year and half later she died from Ovarian cancer. One of the top signs of it in breeding does is not producing babies even after proven, or so I heard.
