What is the best material for a bunny blanket? Is polarfleece safe to leave in their cage 24/7? We have massive amounts ofthis in my house, and I thought it would be nice to put it to good use.If fleece isn't safe, then what material could I use for an in-cageblanket?
Try giving it to him outside of the cage first to see what hedoes. If he chews it or pulls off the little lint balls, don't put it in his cage.

Really, the biggest issue is whether or not he will eat any ofit. If so, don't give him any type of blanket in hiscage. I know I've seen a couple of people here that havetowels in their cages, and you could try that too.

I do not put blankets in my rabbits' cages. It would be niceif they had something softer to lay on, but I worry about theirsafety. Not to mention Mocha poops everywhere. Eww,poopy blanket!:vomit:

Its funny, every night when I let her out of hercage, I take a fleece lap blanket and throw it over a box, there isenough of it to let her lay on it, adjust it with her teeth or she willgo under it next to the box. There were a few nights in a rowwhere she would lay on it close enough to me (I am laying on the couch, the floor is just too uncomfortable for this pregnant woman!) and I amable to just pet her for about 20 minutes! She just loves itbut if I try to pick her up, she will have non of that and moves out ofmy reach real quick. One night she was so happy about theblanket, she was just standing there then all of a sudden, she jumpsstraight up! Like the title of this post, Miffy justloves a good blanket!
