Mazuri or Oxbow?

I'm deciding on which one to get. Please help.

Oxbow was recommended by my vet so that I what I feed.

Oxbow is a very good brand, never heard anything bad about it! I use it for mine but it is expenisive so when I used to have more rabbits I would get large bags from the feed store of their brand of rabbit food which was always fresh.
If you just have one or 2 rabbits I would stick with Oxbow. Mazuri is good too, not a huge difference. Make sure to also have timothy hay available if it is an adult rabbit and alfalfa if it is a young rabbit!

I use Oxbow. It is more readily available around here and a decent price. I've never really looked at Mazuri as it is not that common.
I have not had an issue with Oxbow, but due to the price I don't feed it to all my rabbits.

He's on an alfalfa based pellet for 2 more months.Hay is always available. I'll decide til then what to get. Maybe mazuri since its a little cheaper and seems about the same.

Oxbow makes a food for young rabbits that is alfalfa based. I'm not sure if they have it where you are though. Sounds like you are doing everything right

He's on a feed from tractor supply. Its what he was on when i adopted him. It'll take him up to when he's old enough to switch. It seems to be good food. I asked about it before on here. I don't know if the young bunny food is available here since i haven't looked but i will tonight when i go to petsmart. Need to pick up other food there.

Its called Premium Show Blend. She has been in the bunny business for over 25 years and she has created her own blend. My bunnies love it and they stay very healthy. ^^*Jealous* Wish I lived nearby to her. I've used her website for bunny info soo many times.

As for the hay-I recomend oxbow. Mazuri is probably fine to. I have no experience with it though, and my vet recomend Oxbow. My bunnies love it and have hay day with it. (; lol

She is helping me out with Thor and his abcess issues right now. Her and the vet are the only people I trust my bunnies lives with.
