matted hair

Firstly i cannot beleive we ONLY have 25 days until xmas SCARY!!!!

Well at least i have bought my rabbit and hamster their christmas stockings.

I have noticed that Sammy (my 9 month old NZ white) has developed alittle matted tuft of fue on the side of the back foot. Ihave trouble getting near her foot to inspect it properly but i thinkit is a tuft of hair which has matted up and is sticking out ot thweside of her foot. She does not seem bothered by it or eventries to chew it off, but i was just wondering if i should do anythingwith it?

Yes, do remove the matted hair by cutting orgently pulling apart. The matts can hold moisture and germsresulting in skin infections.
