The Thrianta and Mini Satin are well on their way to being accepted asnew ARBA breeds having passed their "2nd showings". They mustpass a total of 3 presentations at an ARBA National Convention to beofficially accepted as sanctioned breeds under ARBA. The nextconvention is next fall; any newly accepted breeds go into effect Feb.1 following the convention.
Twonew breeds that were unsuccessful in their showings include the Velveteen Lop and the Lionhead.
There are now 3 new varieties (colors): The Otter Holland Lop, Blue Eyed White Mini Rex and the American Tan Cavy.
Other colors in the works that have passed at least 1 showing include:Chocolate Dwarf Hotot, Broken Havana, Sable Point & Otter MiniRex, Amber (Chocolate Agouti) Rex, and the broken Netherland Dwarf.
Numerous other contenders hold certificates of development, but have not yet passed any showings.
