I got up to see it. It was so cool! the night was perfectly clear, too, so everything was visible. Binoculars made it look spectacular!

Argh, I'm so mad with myself. I went to bed at 1 30 so I could cage two hours of sleep, and I woke up at 5, and the moon was behind our trees.

I missed the eclipse, darn it! I woke up at 5:30 and searched everywhere in the sky for it, but it just wasn't there! The sky was clear too...no cloud cover at all.

Oh look! We can get some practice in and watch the meteors before the big eclipse. The Perseid showers peek this weekend. Go find a nice dark field to lie in and get the best view.
