Got my little Eden checked by the vet today as it looked like he had a lump behind one of his front legs. Vet said for now to monitor it as it is not attached to anything and his behaviour is normal. His weight is also stable which is a good sign (although he needs to loose weight really but I will take stable). I’m sooo concerned that it might grow and need removing especially being so close to his leg it could effect his mobility. Feel so upset about it :( Picture of little man below.

he is so adorable!!! keep us updated on his leg/bump! hopefully its nothing, just wondering does the lump feel squishy or hard? he could have cut himself on something and the vet didn't notice its inflammed. was it a rabbit savvy vet? my only other guess is that it could be mishealed scar tissue i recently had a bunny who cut his lip and is healed like a bump, i thought he had cancer or a gum infection, it ended up just being scar tissue that healed overlapped! hopefully someone else with experience with "bumps" sees your post:)

Hopefully it turns out to be something benign, but definitely a good idea to closely monitor it. If you're still concerned about it being something more, you could always ask your vet to do a fine needle aspirate of it.

It is a soft squidgy lump at first I actually thought it was access skin/ tissue because he was overweight but eventually I realised one side was a little bigger than the other which made me get him checked. It hasn’t visibly changed since it was spotted vet was not concerned after examining it but bengin lumps can still grow which will potentially be a problem. Just hoping it doesn’t get any bigger bless him!
