Just make sure he doesn't mount her. That would be very uncomfortable in her current state, you know? If Tumnus gets upset about the vet smell, rub a towel on him and then rub it on Lucy so she smells like him instead of icky vet.

I always put the fosters back with their partners when I've had them fixed. Normally within two days the girls are feeling a lot better and acting like nothing happened. The vets didn't seem to concerned.

But I would agree with Naturstee, just make sure he's not humping her. I've found that the other bunnies can tell something is wrong, and don't bother them too much and will just give them little snuggles.

I let Lucy and Tumnus see each other for a while. The funny part is, she tried to hump him! So I separated them and Im just letting them see each other through the NIC grids for now...

Both seem to be healing wonderfully. Both are eating and pooping and such.

How many days after the surgery should I give pain meds? The rescue said 2 but that doesnt seem very long, and I have extra medicam.

Thanks everyone for your kinds words and prayers.

I just checked Driz's old prescription of Metacam from his neuter. He was on it once a day for 4 days.

Glad to hear the girls are healing up nicely!
