Thanks! :)

Thing is, it wasn't sunny at all yesterday. It was overcast and actually misty most of the day - and I got burned....... go figure.

My neck is killing me this afternoon..... I knew it was coming......... but that's ok.... I'll live.

Zin, uncrinkle the butt!

Here are some photos to give you an idea of what happened.

and this is the ripple in the tire - there were actually like 4 of these. I think it's where the belt in the tire crimpled up. The hole was really hot for a long time....

Wow! How frightening for you - and I too, am SO glad you all walked away from that! Similiar thing happened to my Aunt in VA, she was hauling a small trailer - and flipped and she broke both of her arms! So your VERY luck!!

Well, they weren't brand new tires...... but they weren't terribly old. I think something is going on with that side of the truck tho - so we're going to have it looked at.

Thanks again everyone. I wanted to get photos of the cornfield today but just haven't had a chance to drive over there!

Thanks Dave. I tried to tell my mom that the p/u was big and sturdy. She wants me to get something "safer"..... I said "MOM! I'm safer than anything smaller than me on the road!" LOL!

I keep thinking I'll go by and take a picture of the field, but I haven't had a chance. I'm honestly amazed that we didn't damage the truck (other than a bent running board and the cap being gone).... and we didn't get hurt....

Mom had just given me a rosary that came from some place she sent a donation - she's not Catholic but we are. It was laying on the dash.... it was still there when we landed....
