Lots of poop in pregnant doe

As of the past 4 days Oreo has been having a lot of cecotropes. She eats some but not all. It then gets stuck to her cage and I have to come and scrape it out. Smells like donkey butt :grumpy:so I hate doing it. I was reading that too many of these can be caused from too rich of a diet. I have been giving her extra veggies since she's preggo.. could this be causing that? Should I just go back to her regular veggie plan? If it wont harm her and will benefit her I will continue to clean the extra nastiness up. lol. I just want her to be okay and I want the kits to be happy and healthy.

I'd cut back on the veggies an give her some alfalfa for the extra protein and calcium. We use unscented baby wipes to clean up with, and yes, they do stink!

You can also give her some steel cut oatmeal or old fashioned oatmeat for the extra calories.

Ok, so i'll slow it down a bit.

I have to learn all the different oats. I bought Raw Oats thinking they were the right ones.. .and i cant do anything with them except plant them and give the grass. I have 50lbs of the stuff!!!!!

I have no idea. But that line reminded me of a line from the movie Coming to America, with Eddie Murphy, i think it was Royal Oats though.. lol good laugh.

i'm going to clean up a huge part of my little yard and just grow the stuff. the grass will benefit my piggies too. I think it will grow all year long for me since our climate is pretty warm, well i hope anyway. my green thumb is broken.. should have seen what happened with my garden idea.. pffft. lol
