Looking for My Next Model

Tiny is next, Peg. You have to know that I've spent the last 2 hours reading his memorial thread and crying my eyes out. I've probably gone through half a box of tissues at this point. I selected the photos I want and there are so many, I don't know if I'll be able to do just one week of him.

I wanted to ask, did you ever get that painting of him and Miss Bea completed? You didn't post it in his memorial thread, so I wasn't sure. I'd love to see it if you would share it with me.

I'm dying to see how you do Tiny. I was going to PM you about maybe doing something of Tiny and Zeus....(I want to get the painter to do something too - just can't afford it right now).

Its so funny - Tiny usually sat upright with his ears straight up (unless he was pulling them back for a reason)- Zeus sorta slouches with the one ear down. Some day I want a drawing/painting of them looking at each other....

I think of Tiny looking into the water at Rainbow Bridge and seeing Zeus...or them face to face...or Zeus looking up at Tiny's picture - but I can never figure out quite how I want it done.

Its almost like Tiny was "nobility" in his own way - and Zeus is a rogue....

I reread Tinys RB thread the other day ... and cried and cried and cried. I'm so angry at him right now for being gone....the anger and the grief has been hitting me hard the last 7-10 days. So I'm dying to see how you do him...

Minda is actually taking pictures with her Nikon camera of the pages and posting them on the forum. The pictures are so sharp and clear.

She is an artist and photographer.

I'm ok. I haven't completed another yet because lately people have been dumping their children with me. I think I must havea sign over my house that says I'm a school teacher off for the summer, use me as free child care. :disgust:

I'm hoping I'll have time this week to finish a few more as well as some work for the upcoming school year!

you are truly talented. I agree with the others, you should make this into a business, as this could pay well for you! there are a lot of nutty pet owners out there who love to see their pets drawn! as well as nutty bunny owners who love bunny calendars!

Are you running out of time or energy to take on a few more models. It would be great to see drawings of Patch and Luna (dutches), and of my heart-bunny Maggie (a Cinamon)with her hus-bun Benjamin (a black bunny). I could post the few pictures I have of Maggie and Benj if/when you have the time. My foster Katie (Jersey Wooly)mightlike a portrait drawn also. If you run out of time, perhaps next summer vacation, you could add them to your model list.
