i have no clue ...what brand oflittershould i use and one more thing what brand of food should i use? imclueless

It's very important not to use clumping catlitter, as they can (and probably will) eat it and could develop ablockage from that.

Most of us here use Woody Pet if we can, and Yesterday's News as analternative. Most rabbits like to hang out in their litter boxes andthis is safe in case the ingest any of it.

I use carefresh..its basically the same stuff asyesterday's news.........you might see this stuff called Critter Litter..its lil white balls .........its WONDERFUL for when they are babiesand you are starting to litter train...but once they get bigger andhave a larger volume of pee..it just turns the litter into this biggross clay mush and its a huge pain in thr butt to clean up!oh oh and you are able to flush carefresh down the toilet ...(woudntrecommend that if you use septic tho)

I also use Carefresh. It works well, but if I could find a local source for Woody Pet I would use it instead.

As for pellets, make sure you get just plain ones.Don't get the stuff with treats mixed in. Young bunnies(under 6 months old) should have alfalfa pellets. After that, you can switch them to timothy-based pellets, which have less protein, usually more fiber, and less calcium. Whatever youget, try to go for high fiber. I have personally had problemswith feeding average-to-low fiber pellets, which are the types you findmost in pet stores. And don't forget the hay!

I' ve had great luck getting the best qualityand inexpensive pellets at feed stores. They sell good stuff, with no fillers and crap in it ;)

Natures Tee , TSC should carry woody pellets . do you have one in the area?

Nope. Not a one. Or Rural King, or the other bigstores that carry it. I checked the site. Everytime I try to check the independent retailers, the linkfails. I still have a few equestrian shops to check out, though. I just have to drive to the ritzy area north ofMilwaukee to find them. I guess it's better than the ghetto.:?

sooo there isnt any clumping kinds that arent harmfull to rabbits ?
No, I don't think so. Can you get Yesterday's News where youare? It doesn't have to be the rabbit kind. It canbe the Yesterday's News for cats, just make sure it's theunscented one.

Swheat Scoop is a natural wheat cat litter that isscoopable (aka "clumping"). I don't know if anyone uses itthough.

I prefer Woody Pet over any other product.

I use woody pet. It is awesome! Carefresh isn'tbad, but make sure your bunny doesn't eat it. Devon loves to eat hislitter, so I switched him to woody pet which is okay to eat.
