Sorry Imissed this..... here ya go....
Oh man...I wanted to post the picture of WoodyPet.

I've used just about everything out there and...IMO...WoodyPetis the final answer. Do whatever you have to do to get it!!!

I use the "Professional Animal Bedding" (same as the small animal litter/bedding)

The following is from their website....

Raw White Soft Wood Shavings and Sawdustundergoes extreme processing which extracts most of the resins, oils, tars, acids and water from the wood fiber. Exiting the milling processthe product is completely sterile in granulated form and has become anextreme absorbent. Looks like, but does not taste like Granola. We haveeliminated the Dangerous Aromatic Hydrocarbons which cause Hives andRespiratory Irritation (Coughing) for horses. There are NO ADDITIVES ofany kind in this product, it is 100% Biodegradable Sterile Wood Fiber.

Sorry for beatin ya to the punch Jim!

It's absolutely the same as that bag shown on the link.

Jim, in the blue where it says thatWe have eliminated the Dangerous Aromatic Hydrocarbonswhich cause Hives and Respiratory Irritation (Coughing) forhorses.

THAT is exactly the concern I had regardingthe stove pellets. Do they do this process whatever it maybe?

YES! That's the one I get. I don't know if there is a difference at all.

I checked out the link, and that's the stuff I use. I pay $4.99 for a30 lb bag. There's a distributor about 20-30 minutes from me. I'll bemaking a run this weekend to pick up a load (usually 6 bags/load).

Their litter/bedding is the same stuff for horses as it is for small animals.

I even have used it for our hamsters. However the hamsters prefer aspenshavings for building their nests/beds. I put WoodyPet in the cornerwhere they pee/poop and shaving in the rest of the cage. It worksgreat!!

Yeah right...Iwas calling home and asking my daughter to takea picture of the WoodyPet....she's like.. "are you absolutely nuts?!?!?"

Pictures of bunnies..ok..of WoodyPet..way to far gone over the edge and falling into the great bunniehugger's abyss!

I'm not sure about the stove pellets. I can do a little research to seewhat I can find out, though. I've probably got dozens of places aroundhere where I could get the stove pellets all year round. I'll post backhere with anything I find out.

Does WoodyPet make stove pellets?? (JK)

:~) Jim

Jim, don't stress it! lol, I woulda taken a picof the absorbancy if need be. OK, with water and a bowl but Iwould! :p

I use the woodypet in our rat's cage too, she LOVES it.

OKAY.... here's the first thing I found...check it out...

Atlas's main product appers to be stove pellets, but look what happensto the product listed after the stove stuff....very similar to theWoody Pet line.

But...I'll not give up my Woody Pet...you can't make me...I don'twanna...even if it is the same. I even made up a Woody Pet song...goesto the music of the old "Lollipop" song...."Woody Pet, Woody Pet, ILooove Woody Pet" ***does a little binkie dance***

Just wanna let you guys know that I purchasedwoody pet online...I'm excited to get it, but if it doesn't work aswell as you all say..there's gonna be trouble!!! hahah

-Ness

Hi Ness!

If you don't like it, I'll take it! Justjoking.....ha ha. I find that I am using less litter becauseit lasts longer, and I can scoop out the used portion and mix in newstuff, I don't have to change the box as often.

I bought 10 bags of Woody Pet and it will last me along time. Just think of the $$$$ money I saved.

Now what shall I do with the 2 bags of Yesterday's News and 3bags of Pine Pellets that I have leftover. Would JimD take them? :D

Rainbows!
