Lionhead and mites

This is a really random question.

Can anyone tell me, when a liohead (a super fluffy double mane) gets mites and then recovers, does the fur regrow as it does on a normal bunny? Or does it take a while? Or what? How long would it take roughly to see fur regrowth.

I didn't want to bother her to be honest (although she was the first person that came to mind as to who would know). I owe her a PM reply anyway, I'll ask in that.

I *think* both manes would grow back as normal, because once the adult coat is established it seems that it stays that way through molts. The baby coat may be different from the adult one, but I think once the adult coat comes in, it grows back the same. Of course Peg would know WAY better.

Thanks I have PMed Peg. It's interesting to know it should grow back as normal. I'm guessing once they have gone it would grow fairly fast, because that's what Summer's did when we finally beat them.
