I think the reason why they aren't releasing their songs before the album, is because for the last album they did that, and might not have sold very much albums, because everyone was putting the songs on their Mp3's, iPods, etc.

yeah, but major bummer for non-apple people, didn't they only do that on iTunes? i still can't find a release date for any music download store other than iTunes(i use amazon mp3), which is driving me craz-ay!:rollseyes

I'm not sure if they did or not...probably so, but I remember listening to the songs on YouTube. I can't figure out how to work iTunes, haha.

i have a microsoft zune this year, last year i has a sandisk/sansa. i think they've made iTunes so that you can use it with other devices, but a) i don't think my mom is going to be thrilled about me downloading something else when i already have the zune/zune marketplace software downloaded + windows media. and b) i really hate giving into Apple. it's silly, i know, but.......i really don't like them, mostly because of the whole you're-only-cool-if-you-have-a-iPod thing that everyone has. for the most part, i have more fun do whatever the crowd isn't doing.

and they released a bunch, maybe half of the songs *early*(from the middle of july? on) on iTunes and then had a thing where you got so much off the rest of the album when it was released everywhere. that drove me crazy because of the exclusiveness of it. if you didn't have a iPod, you were left out in the cold.

JB had a live webcast today on Facebook and they gave 20 sec. clips of each song.... I'm totally in love with Black Keys and What Did I Do To Your Heart.

I'm so buying the CDright when it comes out!! lol. I wanted to listen to the songs first, but now that I've heard 20 secs. of each, I want more! Lol.

Anna, have you seen the video for Paranoid? It's AMAZING!!!!! I've seen it like 3 times already and I've got to watch it more. I just love it! Listening to Paranoid right now :biggrin2:

yeah, i have, i found it online like, 20 minutes before it came out on disney(drove Em crazy when i go 'that was such a good video!' and mom's like 'you've seen it?' and i'm all 'yeah, online:nasty:'.....i know, i'm awful)

ooo, i'll have to see if i can find a recording of the chat:coolness:. i found a full version of Fly With Me. i'm listening to it obsessively(ie constantly repeating it:biggrin2::biggrin2, i LOVE IT!! so, so much! it's great. think inseparable, when you look me in the eyes, hello beautiful, etc. it's a lot like stuff from Jonas Brothers, which is great because i loved the love songs on that album:nasty::biggrin2:!
