Hi everyone!

New to rabbits and this forum. Anyone on here that lives in KY? We are wanting to show rabbits, but have no idea where to even start!:? (Did I mention that we are fairly new to KY also? :p )

I was born and raised in Louisville, and this is where the state fair is every year. I'm not a breeder or a show person, but I hope you made it out to the fair, as that is the rabbit showing mecca in Kentucky.

I have two wonderful Mini-Rexes that I adopted from the KY State Fair, back in 2005. My two rabbits have free reign of the house, and are wonderful companions.

I currently reside in Louisville, Ky. I bought a Holland Lop from the state fair a couple of years ago. That would be a good place to get advice.

I'm in Northern Kentucky. Still wet behind the ears when it comes to rabbits. My daughter started with a Flemish Giant for her FFA supervised agricultural experience project and we just recently adopted a mini lop. We planned on showing the Flemish this year, but he was sick. We want to get prepared to show next year and hope to show both. We also plan on breeding the Flemish Giant since we have had a lot of requests. So, we will be on the lookout for a Fawn Flemish Giant female with show qualities.

I knwo this is over a year old but I dont' come by this part of the site much- usually just the show room, but I'm in Owingsville,KY. I have a pair of Californians, pair of New Zealands and mostly dutch, with a couple Holland Lops thrown in. I know someone that raises hollands and a few lion head and mini rex folks. Decent Rabbit people are far and few between

I know that this is an old thread but I wanted to chime in. I'm in Northern KY (Pendleton County). We have three beautiful Silver Fox rabbits that we bought a couple weeks ago. They are three months old. We will be breeding them this fall. The two does and buck are show quality and great stock purchased from a very reputable and successful breeder here in KY.

We had rabbits years ago and just got back into it for our kids 4-H projects.
