This is probably the best step-by-step video tutorial I've found for building NIC cages:

To be honest, I think you'restressing outtoo much about litter training. I know it's a big deal to your parents, but litter training rabbits (especially neutered rabbits) isn't that difficult. It's their natural instinct to have a bathroom area. You just need toshow them thelitter boxis that bathroom areaandthe rabbit is on its way to beinglitter trained. And if you're adopting a rabbit, odds are it'll already be litter trained before you bring it home!

Hope that helps!

I wouldn't worry about the size of the cage - it's really hard to have something *too* big. My first bun is only 4lbs and has always lived in a pen that is 4'x8'.

Even for a very small bun, 2'x4' should be the minimum. I have the super pet large cage (given to me by Hannah's previous owner) and I don't think it's big enough for my 4lb guy and especially not Hannah, who is 5.5lbs.

found a way to build a gigantic cage for like 30 bucks bonus its 3ft and 4inches in length 1ft 10inches in width and 18 1/2 inches in height
Approved?:lookaround
