I'm not that surprised as Kanye West has always been a rude, arrogant, tactless douche. He thinks he is God's gift to music, always has and always will. He's an a**hat.

I don't think Taylor Swift has anything to offer much. Some cutesy catchy songs maybe. And yeah Beyonce's video was better. But it's the VMAs. They're a joke anyway. Who cares? Let the girl celebrate and take her award home. She WON. The end. No use being a bigger jerk than usual about it!! Especially, ESPECIALLY during a LIVE televised event, INTERUPTING her speech. He's such an idiot! I felt so bad for her! How do you turn that around?? She handled it well though. I'd have bust out crying right on stage.

I thought it was classy of Beyonce to let Taylor come back on stage. I'd be so embarrassed if I were her. Obviously it was not her fault, but still.

What he did was buy no means right, but in a strange way it has kinda benefited her, look at all the publicity she's getting now, everybody feels sorry for her and likes her whilst, Kanye has given himself more bad press. It will all blow over eventually anyway, most people will have forgotten about it in a few weeks.

I watch Chelsea Lately all the time and she was talking about Jermemy Piven tonight who she calls a d**k all the time! She had another stupid story about him tonight and said he should go to Kanye Camp! LOL! Along with Jon Gosselin and can't think of who else she said, haha.

Personally I agreed that Beyonces video was MUCH better... however you can't just climb up on stage and say it! It was so rude...

Although all the internet memes are making me laugh so much:

There are HUNDREDS of them online. Some are hilarious!

That IS funny. I'm glad some people can make light of it; sometimes when celeb outbursts happen you just can't take it too personally otherwise you'll just end up wasting your energy. Sometimes it is easiest to shake your head, laugh at it, and move on. Hollywood will forget about this in a couple weeks, and bring it back when it's time to recount 2009's craziest moments before new years.

I hope they forget it soon, I'm starting to get annoyed with all the coverage the little outburst is getting. In my opinion the new's stations have much more important things they should be talking about. I get reporting on it when it happened and the follow up story, but do I really need to hear about it every time my TV or radio is on?

All day Monday I couldn't work out why people were bashing him so much on Twitter.... and then I watched it!

Poor Taylor. I thought it was totally out of order too. Did anyone see him on Jay Leno, when he mentioned his mother and what she would have thought about it? I felt bad for him then, he looked genuinely sorry- although I could only find a YouTube clip that might have been edited.

I think he was an idiout, out of order and deserves backlash. However, if he apologises (I read that he called Taylor Swift and she accepted his apology), then there's really not much else he can do. It's just one of those terrible drunken mishaps that he'll have to remember with shame for a long, long time.

I shed a couple of tears when Beyonce gave up her stage time for Taylor later on though- what a lovely lady!
