Does anyone have a problem with their bunnyjumping up on the kitchen counter? My rabbit is aflemish giant so she is larger than most rabbits, but she is young andonly 7lbs so far. I didn't realize rabbits could get on highthings!

Any tips on keeping her off the counters? We don't have a kitchen door so we can't keep her out.

Wow, I've never heard of rabbits doing that!

I'd be more concerned with her jumping DOWN from that height and breaking a leg or worse.

I would keep a very close eye on her when she's out.

Being a Flemish, I doubt she will do it much longer. She will probably get too heavy to jump that high.

My Mini Lop stopped jumping on the couch when she was full-grown.

Thanks for the tips! I hope she doesoutgrow it! She jumps on the dresser and a multi-level cattree, too. I do keep on eye on her so she doesn't get hurtjumping down.

Oh wow...She's gorgeous!!!

Mine has jumped a 3.5ft enclosure....Several times. And thatwas when she was a baby! AND she's not even a Flemish. So, yeah...Icould see that. Stopping her, though? I have no advice. Sorry!

:roflmao:When I first glanced at the picture, I tohught she was in the fish tank..

She is very cute :). I don't really have much to suggest. I was goingto say maybe blocking the kitchen off with a baby gate but if she canjump on the counter.. that won't really do much good :D

hehehe,i just caught one of my buns zach on thekitchen table the other day,i had to look twice to make sure i wasn'tseeing things, and sure enough it was him sitting there with this lookof achievement on his furry little face and his eyes were staring at melike he was saying ":brat:haha look at me"what a little bugger,i thencaught chocolate bunny doing it the next day,i seen her jump on thechair and then onto the table, omg,i dont have bunnies,i have mountaingoats lol.

A funny thing is i thought bunnies are scared of heights, but i have tothink hmmm..are they really:?

Mine is a jumper but he uses other things to getto the higher areas. He can' t jump from the ground to thecounter...I don't know what I would do if he did that!!

She is beautiful...I am sure as she gets heavier that will slow herdown...I know I can't jump as well as I used to with my added weight!!lol

Good luck.

I had the same problem with Pristine jumping on the diningroom tableand eating the candle. This problem was solved by pullingaway the chairs she used to get on the table.

I have the opposite problem! Cadbury wasterrified of our old dark blue sofa and would walk in a huge circle toavoid it. We just got a new sofa that's very low to the ground and I'mdying for her to sit on it with me. She circles it, and sniffs it, andstands up on her hind legs to look at it. She jumped on my makeup boxthat I had next to the sofa and kept reaching out to touch the sofa butshe just won't make that tiny little jump! Yet she'll hop on up to herBungalow, which is only slightly shorter.

Any ideas on how to get her up there? I even tried bribery with a grapeby placing it on the very edge.... She stood on her hind legs, stretched far and knocked it off the sofa so she could eat it on thefloor. :D

InitiallyBunnicula [/b]started jumping onthe dining table because there was a candy dish up there. Sheate three white chocolate[/b]peanut butter cups and two sourstarbursts[/b] before I found herthe first time.I moved the dish to the kitchen, which is whenshe started jumping on the kitchen counters. She was somotivated, I had to do away with the dishaltogether[/b]. So Idefinitely[/b] think putting baiton the couch is the way to go. Make sure she can't knock itoff, though.

Did you notice the cat in thepicture? Hehe...looks like he/she's trying to get away withtrying to go fishing! LOL!!
