Jordan the Foster is Not Well :(

Well, I've been cut out of the loop, but Jordan is being treated:weee: SARS approved x-rays (yay!!!). He had a set done already, but nobody's going to tell me the results I guess. I called SARS and left a message to call me, but they called the vet directly, told the vet they'd talk to me on Monday, vets also had a crazy day, they'll talk to me on Monday as well. :sigh:

I'm quite attached to the little guy.

(Still seriously considering giving up the three fosters sooner than later, though).

PS: I forgot to mention that I'm not all that familiar with boys (I rarely peek, I'm polite that way), but Jordan's genitals (he's neutered)to me lookedbigger and pinker than they should have, in addition toleaking urine. Not sure if that's more likely to be stones or infection or what, though. (Never got a good look at his urine, but didn't notice blood, although somebody in the pen had white urine recently).

No, he's still not well at all. He has diarrhea in addition to leaking urine.

I still have no idea what the xrays looked like. The staffers are keeping in touch with me but it doesn't sound like they have a diagnosis, either. Not sure if the vet that's on today (Brondwin) has seen the xrays.

They said they're giving him something for the diarrhea, but I dont' know what.

They're force-feeding and giving him oral hydration. Also no idea if they're giving him antibiotics or if they should be.

Poor bunny.

That poor little guy. I hate when they are sick and you can't do anything to help them.

I hope the vet has a clue as to what is making him so sick and is treating him appropriately.

Oh no, Im so sorry to hear he still isnt well. I know how frustrating it is to have a foster bun at the vet in critical condition. You feel so powerless but know theyre doing everything for him.
