Gosh, I am so in looovvvee! So far he hasadjusted wonderfully here! Think he knows that he's in a wonderfulplace?? He also loves to do DBF's! Also, I cleaned his cage and Ididn't know how his original owner has things arranged so I just puteverything back in. I also put in cardboard for his feet as well. Well,it took him about 5 seconds of sniffing around before he found his foodbowl and water bottle and slurped everything down! :D

Awhile ago, he was cleaning his ears (how bunnies pull one ear down with their paws) and I nearly melted.

OMG he is absolutely adorable!!!Congratulations! He is so lucky to have you and I'm surehe'll be very happy in his new home. :)

Thumperis doing wonderfully tonight. Ijust put him in his new cage and he's exploring. He's already found hisfood bowl and took a few bites. Right now he his throwing his ragaround that I gave him. I also bought him 3 new toys, and a litterboxin hopes that he'll learn to use it by smell and scent. That dish towelhowever is his absolute favorite thing in the world. He plays with it,sleeps on it, he's in love with it, LOL!

His eye that has the ulcer is getting better today. It's not leaking asmuch and he's keeping it open more often. We sat on the couch earlierfor a half hour and watched Spongebob. He was so content being a couchbunny, he never moved! He just relaxed and enjoyed being petted.

... well I guess he's used to his cage. As I am typing this, he just stretched out all relaxed. I guess he likes it! :D

I will admit, I hate the small size, but it'll have to do for now. I'mlow on cash and spent what I could getting him the cage, but I'll get abigger one in the future. I just wanted him off that rusty wire floor.I looked at his feet just now for the first time and his hair inmissing in a large patch and it's calloused over with a thick scab.Poor baby, 4 years on rusty wire, I can't imagine the pain!:XI'm sure he prefers the small cage with a soft plasticbottom to that rusty wire floor!

Congratulations,He looks like a Netherlanddwarf(himilayan Color)My favorite color.I have several bunnies thatcolor.as soon as i figure out how too post a picture i will.bluebird

Aww...sounds like he's doing so well!! :D

I would actually think the smaller cage would be good to start offwith, given that he's probably more comfortable not having a huge, openspace.

Soooo happy to read that he's all relaxed and having fun! Wonderful!! :D

I need to start Thumper his own blog... I willdo that in just a little while. It'll be up tonight along with some newpictures of my cutie!

He's such a good boy, he let me put his eye medicine in earlier with no problems whatsoever. :D

:bunnyheartHe's SO CUTE, MBH! Oh man he just looks like a snuggler! :inlove::heartbeat::hearts
Also, good for you to rescue him! What a sweetheart. Here's hoping many happy years to you and your bunny crew!:toast:

Actually, I don't have Haley anymore. She was adopted out months ago toa fellow volunteer at the rabbit rescue that I volunteer for. Haley nowhas full run of the entire house, and sleeps in the bed with her bunnyslave, an 11 year old boy. :D

I now have Just Jack (JJ), a 6 month old Holland Lop boy who Harperrefuses to bond to. However, I'll never put Thumper with Harper or JJ.He's been alone for 4 years, and I'm scared he'd be beaten up or takenadvantage of (like having his food stolen, ect.)

And yeah, he is completely blind in both eyes.

Oh sorry, I am a bit behind withRO happenings at the moment.

Does Thumper need any special care because of his blindness? Does he get around ok?

He is absolutely beautiful, I am really looking forward to checking outhis blog on a regular basis. Your little cutie is one of my favouriteRO bunnies.:)
