Hi, today is Buttercup's 8th GOTCHA DAY:party:.

I bought him some wooden toys that have a hole in the middle, I want tostring them together with Raffia but am wondering if it's safe forBunnies?

I also bought him/ME an Apple Crumble turnover. I will haveto put a candle in it and take a picture with his birthday haton. I will post them later.

Happy Gotcha Day, Buttercup! :balloons:

As long as it's not dyed, it should be safe. I usually useuntreated sisal twine, if you're looking for something cheap anddifferent.

Naturestee, now here's the million dollar question, what's sisal twine & where can one purchase it? Thanks

MrsD brought me home a huge roll of natural jute twine from the dollar store.

I use it for arts and crafts (dreamcatchers), but it's also great (and safe) for the bunnies.

It's a natural fiber rope. You can get it in lots ofdifferent thicknesses. I use the thinnest for the bunnies, but I glued 1/2 inch rope to a board to make a scratching post for mykittens.

You can get it in home improvement stores and places like Walmart. It's pretty common around here.

I think jute is the same thing.
