Hi everyone,

My Rabbit, TayTay (8y.o) has been diagnosed with Thymoma cancer. I believe she’s had it for maybe a year now? I’ve only known about it for 7 months though. For those who don’t know, Thymoma is a mass that grows near the lungs and heart.

I am concerned about her breathing. I have been watching her closely and I want to make sure she’s not in respiratory destress. Given it will be more difficult for her to breathe than normal, I want to hear your opinions on whether or not you think this is concerning yet.
(HERE IS THE VIDEO LINK: Breathing TayTay video)

lso any advice on when to know to put your rabbit down would be appreciated. I absolutely love TayTay with all my heart and have had her these last 8 years. I don’t wish any pain onto her. (She’s on metacam pain meds at the moment)

i have watched the video and i don't think shes breathing hard or not normally. If you didn't know rabbits take three breaths in before they exhale. My rabbit does this all the time. She should be ok. If you are really worried about it then i suggest you go see your vet
