I wanted to buy some dill for my bunny and when I got the plant, I picked out a fennel plant instead. :p Can he have some or is it bad?

What about dandelion greens? I ran out of romaine and have some herbs so I gave him some thyme, parsley, mint leaves and some dandelion greens - is it okay? and can he have the flowers too? We don't treat our grass - just fertilize - is that okay?

I also have sage, basil & rosemary plants which I think he can eat too

He seems to eat less hay now that he's having greens, should I cut down the greens and let him eat more hay? He's about 2 pounds and he got greens twice a day - about a cup each time.

Fennel is fine for bunns...although our kids seem to prefer the fennel tops rather than the stalks! :D

Danielle:)

He should only get about a cup a day of fresh veggies :)

All those veggies are fine; but did you introduce them slowly? I introduce 2 at the most at a time; otherwise it might cause gas and stomach problems.

Yes I only introduced them one at a time - I gave him dandelion greens yesterday and my son said he was gassy - didn't seem bothered apart from a few farts :whistling
