Wow,

The last ? was who was the 1st US President who wasimpeached? They guy opted out thinking it was John QuincyAdams, who I don't remember being a president, answer? AndrewJackson.

The first question was: In what month do we (US) observe Columbus Day? I was right, yay, October!

This keyboard stinks...

So, who's watching?:D:shock:

I'm not watching, but thought i should just letyou know, I didn't know the answer to either of those questions. Sendme back to grade school :(

I was watching in shock! I knew the answers tosome of those, but I really had to think. Its amazing how much info weforget if we dont use it. WOW!

Ha Ha! Jeff Foxworthy was on Idol tonight, andRyan Seacrest asked what one of the questions were and hesaid: How many sides does a trapezoid have? Ithink: 5.

An Octagon has 8, a hexagon has6 (I think) and now I can't think of the name of the one that I thought has 7:shock:.

A heptagon is a 7 sided shape.;)Ahexagon is a 6 sided shape. And a trapezoid is another word for aquadrilateral (AKA a 4 sided figure).

haha, I knew the trapezoid one, but all the USstuff had me stumped... this is obviously a game only Americans (orsomeone who has taken American History) can play since there is anAmerican history topic.

I got all the other questions I think - but the kids got the answers WAY faster than I did... who remembers this stuff!!

:D

MBB that would be a rectangle though, that's why I thoughtit had more. What is five sided then?
Pentagon.

A rectangle is a trapezoid, but a trapezoid is not necessarily arectangle... a square, rectangle and any other 4 sided shape fallsunder "Trapezoid".

At least that's what I would guess for the RO Trivia!!

Pentagon is 5 sided. But a 4 sided figure is not always rectangular or square.;)

This is a 4 sided figure but it's not a rectangle.

I deal with a lot of this in engineering. Pretty much all my coursesare math and things like this. If all I had to remember was the name ofa shape I'd fly through this.;)

HaHa, Nadia! I forgot about the family ofzoids:shock:. See what I mean? You don't evenrelate two of em at first, been too long! But yes, Igot ya, thanks!

9 sides - nonagon

10 sides - decagon

11 sides - hendecagon

12 sides - dodecagon

He he, I could go on...

MBB--You Rock! Thanks!

You should go on the show, smarty pants! Just study US stuffreal quick, it'll be fresh in your memory, just like it is the kids, which is why those of us that have been out of school (hs) for over 15yrs:shock:.

I never learned about the US in school. The mostwe have to know is all the States and their capital cities (longforgotten) and the only other time we ever learn anything abouttheUS after thatis when we study the wars and wedon't learn much about the internal affairs, just their role in thewars. And even then we only briefly looked at that.

But seeing as how I'm in Unversity, it seems I remember all the useless stuff and can't retain all the stuff I need to know.;)

I guess that's kind of like how my knowledge of Canada is... well, nothing. They haven't really played a large part in any ofthe wars we've studied up to WWI so far. Well, except beforethe United States was it's own country...

I haven't done a study on Canada since grade 8.The only inner Canada studies we do are before Canada was even theCanada we know today (back when it was upper/lower Canada and that wasit). Other than that we just studied our role in the wars. To be honestI know more about Russia (huge unit on that) than I do about Canada. Wedidn't even have to know the Prime Ministers.

Yeah... I dropped history in grade9... unfortunately I'm really dumb about all that stuff, Idon't even know that much about the world wars, but I've done a lot ofresearch on my own so I'm not totally ignorant... but I'm cluelessabout history.
