iPod Trouble

Pretty much the subtitle.
Almost every time I plug my iPod Touch in it resets the ratings on my newly rated songs. I don't know if this is a iTunes thing or something with the iPod but it's extremely annoying.

Anyone have any ideas on why?

ooo, that stinks........no clue why through. does apple have a forum on their website? maybe they could help.......

Talking to a guy now (though I've been put on hold for a few minutes).

I'll let you all know what happens so if anyone else ever has this problem.
