I just have to share some really exciting news here.

My niece (my sister's girl) just found out that she is getting ONE of FOUR McNair Scholars Program scholarships from the University Graduate School at Indiana University.

Ronald McNair was one of the astronauts who died on the Challenger when it exploded in 1986.

It's a doctoral/grad studentprogram - their project will be in Psychological Research.

Does that make more sense?

I have every respect for people who go to university- I did it and managed 2 years and dropped out, and have felt like a failure ever since- I was terrified the whole timeI was there!

And such a prestigious scholarship too- you have every right to be proud!
