I'm snowed in!

Snow?? What is snow?? I have never been in it before

Snow is vastly over-rated

The first snowfall is beautiful, and often at night the snow is almost like glitter when the streetlights shine on it...

trust me, the joy of snow wears off quickly, because with it comes freezing temps,,wearing winterclothes, and pushing cars out of ruts, shoveling , and cars sliding on snowy and icy roads. lol

I like the spring the best, when everything comes to life again..

It was tough getting through the 1/4" of snow we had. Well for a couple of hours.

I'm sorry, but I get such a kick out of that! I remember one of my professors telling me about going to college in North Carolina, and how the whole place shut down over an inch of snow. When I lived in northern Minnesota for a year, a lot of the roads (mainly the gravel ones) weren't even plowed! It's amazing to me how hard it is for people to drive in snow when they aren't used to it.

Stafford,VA beats that..I remember when we'd get threats of flurries, they'd shut down businesses and schools. It's a good thing they did though, Virginians have a hard time driving in rain, let alone snow..

its snowing where I live! Its been snowing none stop for 3 hours, but it isnt settling yet. I hope it settles! But then again I have to travel into college by bus later....

I just had a driving lesson in the snow aswell. How fun!

MELTING!!!! Yeah!!! It is in the 40's again here. Supposed to get a cold front coming through this weekend then back in the 20's. UUGGHHH!!!

Lissa, its not that much snow, we had worse last year. I think it was hard to walk, not even drive.

That God we don't have the snow we had a few years ago. It was terrible. This is nothing, but it's always something we midwesterners complain about.
