I'm really disturbed

Ages ago when I got PIP i started going on a gerbil forum and like most ppl i wrote down my username and password but i never reallyu went on it much

today i found the username and password written down and decieded to find the site again
i type in what i thought was the site and look what came up scroll down and read it - i did becuase it was the same picture the site i used to go on had

It's a bunch of losers making cruel jokes. I'm guessing that forum isn't moderated? Usually moderaters will remove stuff like.

Ignore it, and if the site seems to be like that a lot then find a different gerbil forum that is better moderated. Maybe some RO members know a better forum?

I know it's disturbing but just remember it's not real, it's just a bunch of sick humans having a laugh by making others upset.

Could it be the forum was hacked into? Either way, don't cry about it. People are stupid but karma will get them. I'm sure someone might be able to refer you to a good place.

You don't have to hack into a forum to do that. You just sign up and start posting. Every rare once in a while someone tries topost something like that here, it's called trolling or being a troll. But with all the mods we have we're usually able to remove the thread and ban the offender really quickly. Sometimes it's rabbit related like this post was gerbil related, sometimes someone just feels like putting up um... inappropriate pictures to make people upset, especially if children go on the forum. Crazy stuff.

But really, don't let it bother you. That just gives them what they want. If a forum is moderated then let one of the mods know. Otherwise, well I just don't recommendbeing onunmoderated forums especially if you are under 18.

Yeah I know about trolling. Was just wondering since it doesn't seem they banned the or anything yet so was wondering if they just couldnt. hihi. Anywho, either way, like Naturestee said, not a good idea for a minor to be on an unmoderated forum so you may want to look for a better one.

Don't worry - I doubt it would have happened. No one would be that foolish to talk like that unless it was a joke. People post things like that to upset people, not to worry!

I mean, I'm well over 18 and I wouldn't wanna go on an unmoderated forum, not just because those kinds of 'jokes' are upsetting, but who wants to research animal care and find that sort of rubbish? Not me!

That's why I love RO, we can enjoy and care for our animals in peace and quiet!
