This is Turbo, he's a 3 year old rabbit, DEFINITE MALE, about 4lbs, his fur is a Chocolate Brown/Dark Brown color. He's currently molting and I have fur EVERYWHERE!! So i'm going to have to use old pictures of him ... I couldn't get an accurate picture with Mr. Moody right now if i tried to.

I am going to say Polish. My mom raises polish and their max weight is 3.5lbs but we do have ones that are bigger than that. Especially if they were just bred for pet rabbits most likely the parents were bigger than the ideal too.
His chocolate color is also recognized in Polish rabbits.
Here are some pictures for comparison

I don't know with thoes ears, makes me think he's going to end up being a bigger bun.

When I was a kid I was told I was getting a full grown dwarf. She turned out to be a baby American. LOL she kept growing and growing and growing..... ended up to be a rather large bun. I should have known because she had huge ears. Luckily she was a house rabbit, which for the 80s was unusual.

Ah, I'm sorry I missed that he wasn't still growing. Then I agree with the polish mix idea.

He is extremely cute no matter what kind of bun he is :inlove:

Sarah, that first brown rabbit picture in the Google images looks almost identical to Turbo, I had to take a second look to make sure it wasn't a picture of him!! That's amazing, awesome job <3 Turbo and Lindsey

Very cute bunny. BTW: he is a polish, he looks just like Pudden. Netherland dwarves have squished faces, as you may be able to see in my avatar of Sweetie and Prince. Prince is the white rabbit and he is a purebred netherland dwarf. Sweetie is the black rabbit and she is a lionhead mix rabbit.

I would say absolutely a purebred Polish, chocolate, and a gorgeous one too at that! Perhaps just a "badly" bred Polish since he's a tad bigger than the accepted weight but yup--definitely Polish. I used to raise them and they have the most incredible personalities!

His personality is the biggest out of anyone in the house!! He's got such an expressionable personality! If he's mad, you'll know about it...he'll kick when he hops. When he's hungy, you'll know about it, he'll thump by his food bowl. When he's happy, he gets all fluffy and lays down on his platform and snoozes. When he's scared, he thumps like crazy until i make a certain noise i've trained him to recognize...i call it the "mommy" noise. ever since he was a baby i'd make a clicking sound with my tongue and the roof of my mouth so he'd recognize that its me.

He's such a sweetheart, but shedding time is a B***H ... to say the least. the zoom groom isn't cutting it ... is there anything else i can do?

oh my goodness, i've googled polish rabbits and i swear the little baby bunnies look just like my little bitty turbo did. he was about the size of a smartphone when i got him and now he's such a fatty <3 haha!!

Wet hands work great but there are also a rubber brushes out there that I used to use a lot on my buns. It's harmless and most buns don't realize that you're not petting them.

I agree, he looks like a polish. Very sweet looking bung you have!

he absolutely despises the zoom groom i got him ... when i brush him, i can feel it getting stuck on his hip bones and he squirms so i think it hurts him... a lot of times i'll find myself picking loose patches of fur off of him ... he enjoys when i pull loose hair. lol, i feel awkward about pulling his hair out but the zoom groom hurts him, this feels lovely (apparently)
