Wow! Congrats, it looks so nice!! I'm jealous of your rent, here in Portland a 3bed/2ba house would rent for $1750/month! Why I got a condo with affordable payments... I can't wait to live in a less expensive place

Thanks, you guys :biggrin2:! We can't stinkin' wait to move in. I dread packing, though. Packing is the worst thing in the world, especially since I am an organize-it freak. I am so bad that I would rather put miscellaneous items in one box each, so that they aren't jumbled into a "whole box of random things".

Well...we are moving in TOMORROW/FRIDAY!
We are signing the lease tomorrow after work and they are handing in the key. Since they are giving us the key, we will just move in.
We kind of have to because Ryan got a call today from our current landlord and he said that on Saturday morning he is sending a couple over to our house to look at it, as they are interested. Which means, we need to get ALL the animals OUT by Saturday morning. We aren't supposed to have pets here, but we have gotten away with it because our landlord is sketchy and lives 2 hours away. We don't want the new possible renters to bust our secret....we NEED to get all of our security deposit back if we want to get our credit cards payed down.
We are going to the Home Depot tomorrow night to pick up that ply wood stuff with the holes in it (forgot the name), so we can get the new NIC cages built at the new house for the bunnies. This is going to SUCK...ugh. I am going to build them on Friday while Ryan drives back and fourth with his friend from the old house to the new house with our furniture and boxes.
The final trip after getting every thing moved into the new house will be to go back to the old house to get the kitties, rats, and rabbits. I'll bring Sammy (our dog) to the new house with me, so he isn't alone at all.
The reason why this sucks? Uhm...I'm kinda packed. I wasn't prepared to move into the new house THIS Friday. We will get it done, even though it will be stressful.

Good luck with everything Amy!!! Sorry you guys are getting so crammed with moving so soon (I hate moving ) but sounds like a great luck out to be able to move into the new place so soon to avoid your landlord's new renter people!

If you are going with the same/similar designs of cages wouldnt it be easier to put bunnies into carriers and then take down the cages in pannels then put them up in pannels? like take off the sides and pack them all flatly into the car then its easier and quicker to put them back up...

We are in our new house right now. All the pets made it okay. The bunnies and rats are confused, but they will be just fine.
I was up until 4am building bunny cages and getting all the stuff moved over here. Ryan and his friend are getting the last of it right now...and then we will be all moved out! We just need to go back to our old place and clean it.
My sewing room/boy rat room is AWESOME! I love it already. The new house is just stinkin' awesome.
Ryan is bringing me back some Holy Cow (my favorite and only cleaner I will use), so that I can clean out the cupboards and put away all the kitchen stuffs.
I technically will not have the internet until tomorrow, but for right now, I am pulling a naughty and stealing wireless from a near by house.

Yay! What a relief for you to have it nearly done.
Lol, gotta love wireless internet. We use a neighbor's wireless every great now and again when our router decides to go on the fritz for a few hours :whistling.

I just need to go put some stick on tiles down in Brody's cage and then I will go through the house and get a video tour for you guys. Pictures are okay, but you can never get everything in a picture!
The only room not put together yet is the living room, we just have to put the CD's/DVD's on the shelves. I also need to buy some pictures for the walls, they are very bare.
