Hehehe -
I got my Grandma a pair of Opal earrings. She loves earrings and these will look nice on her I believe. She also gets some warm fuzzy socks, hand lotion and some hand made goats milk soap that is apple and cinnamon in scent. She also got a set of Christmas ornaments and a huge bag stuffed with toys, broshes, blankets and treats for her dog.
Dad gets a SUV barrier for the dogs. Its a nice gate that will allow the three german shepherds to ride without having to load all three crates so they dont come to the front of the vehicle (oldsmobile bravada). This will be good for short trips to the river etc - not to replace crates for long rides. He also gets a magnetic goose neck light.
Mom gets some warm fuzzy socks, lotion and goats milk soap (pumpkin spice), a Nicholas Sparks audio book (for when she drives) and a little 3 step dog staircase for her small dog that has trouble jumping on the couch sometimes. She has decided to keep one of the fosters I brought to her quite a while back- the Mom who was pregnant and the owners surrendered to the pound.
My parents together get a wireless camera system for their vehicle. It has a camera that attaches at the rear license plate and a monitor that fits on the sun visor. Its supposed to work to where you can watch whats behind you so you don't back over anything. Sadly, it comes too late, as Mom backed over her GSD Diesel last year and wasn't able to save him.
My brother wanted a book on wine, or some wine but I cant find what he wants because its Sunday and everything is closed. He had mentioned that he and his wife are going to gut and redo their bathroom so I went to Lowes and got him a Black & Decker Bathroom remodeling catelog and a $75 gift certificate.
Stephanie, my sister in law, is getting the same as Mom and Grandma - socks, lotion and goats mild soap (raspberry melon) and a nice heavy enameled cast iron 6.5qt casserole (pot?). I'm not sure if the casserole is a good idea now though. She has a new glass top stove and I don't know if enameled stuff can go on the burners. To be perfectly honest though, I don't cook so I dont know how this heavy pot is used... on top of the stove - or in the oven itself?
My brother and his wife got together two Christmas pillows for their couch.
Well, I think thats it for now. I have to go to my parents house today to decorate. I'll come home tonite, wrap presents (and maybe pick up a few last minute items)and head back out there tomorrow for our celebration. It always lasts into Christmas Day and then we all slowly disperse and go on our merry ways...
Everybody have a SAFE and wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
