This is great news!

She is such a special little girl. And I honestly think it was fatethat you found her. I can tell how much she means to you and shes onelucky bunny for how much you spoil her!

Im gonna move this out of the rescue section since she no longer needs a home :D

YAY...that would be WONDERFUL if you could keep her!! :D

Hey...what kind of house does she have? It sounds HUGE...I'd love to see it. :)

Oh how sweet...isn't it funny how bunnies bring out the best in everybody? It's so sweet.

For instance, we have friends over like once a week to play D&D(yes, I'm a geek), and the person who's running the game, when hestarted coming over would make remarks about my girls (in good fun, soI wasn't offended...though I wished he wouldn't). Now, acouple months later, he can't seem to leave before saying goodbye toFlower. He's not quite yet keen on Maisie (though I honestlycan't say why...although she does kinda exude this "I only want Mama"feeling), but he does have to say hello and goodbye toFlower.

It's so cute...just one day, he looked over and noticed her cleaningone of her ears, and I think that's the day his heart melted.:) Ever since, he noticed her DBF's, her cleaning, variousthings like that, and mentions how cute she is. :)

Can't wait to see what he thinks of Trixie, too. :D

Here are a few pictures of Tabitha's Bunny Estate. Remember it is still underconstruction and decoration.

She loves sunbathing on her patio.

Wow!! That's BEAUTIFUL!!!She has so many things to do, and places to go! Wonderfulsetup! I love it when people take the time to make theirbun's environment fun and stimulating like that! :D

Kudos to you! :D

My husband is allergic to rabbit FUR... has been since he got his first rabbit for 4-H ummmm 15 years ago.... He takes allergy pills and is on 2 inhailers... The doc says his asthma stems from the allergy to the rabbits..and still we have 50+ he will not give them up so he stays on themeds... (which has to be updated from time to time cause they quit working) He has no problems with any of the hay or anything we give them... just the fur... He is talking about trying to breed a hairless rabbit (like the cats and rats) lol do notthink I want to go to that extent though!!!! lol

Glad yougot your rabbit "problems" figured out and are able tokeep it! That set up is AWESOME!!!!

Yes, i do think in my case it is the hay/loose alfalfa that i am allergic too. I suffer from seasonal allergies and when i mow my lawn i suffer terribly so it does make sense that the hay and straw would effect me especially the dust that comes out of it when i sweep it up.

Wow! I have to say I am really impressed! By buns better not see that or they will be on the first plane to Florida!

Have you given any more thought to getting her a little friend? I remember you were considering it before and it looks like she has plenty of room to share with a buddy. Its also nice because you dont feel as bad if you cant snuggle with her, she has somebunny else to giver her hugs if your allergies are acting up.

She is one lucky bunny though! What a cinderella story, huh? :D

Well, i don't know right now. But my neighbor who lives right opposite me has a male bunny that she says looks just like Tabitha. Apparently they have been trying to get rid of him for a long time. They have asked me several times now if i would take him. I would have to either get Tabitha spayed or him neutered first, that is if they got along together.

How old is Tabitha? She would be the one I'd spay first, for cancer reasons. But an unneutered buck may spray, could be aggressive as well.

Why do they want to get rid of their rabbit? That's sad. Do they take care of him?

:happydance

I'm so glad that you decided to keep Tabitha and give it a go!!!

Nice digs, too!!!!
The only thing I might suggest is a safe house.
A place where she can get completely out of the elements .....and danger (or whatever she might feel is dangerous to her)
An enclosed box with a hole just big enough for her to fit through....kind of like a dog house for bunnies.

Wait a mo!!!! Is that's what's in the corner of her cage???

It's great that you will be able to keep Tabitha - for both of you :D! I really love the set up you have for her - there are so many things for her to play with. And it sounds as though everone is falling in love with her. What a happy ending to what started off as such a sad story :)
