I think Basil has an Abscess

Naturestee, I agree..they took him out of the room and had him back to me within 15 minutes! I was impressed.

Oh, and it wasnt as expensive as I thought. I looked at the breakdownon the bill.. Basil was only 150, and Max was 40 for an exam and 40 forBaytril. I was shocked bc my vet charges alot less for meds.

Anyway, Basil's doing great! Max is happy too bc we were able to getunflavored Baytril (instead of liver..yuck). The vet suggested I mix itwith some grenadine. Max thinks its a treat..Basil is jealous bc hedidnt get put on any meds

Just an update:

Basil seems to be doing great! The wound has entirely healed up andtheres no signs of the abscess coming back. Heres hoping it stays gonefor good!
