We have a pilot willing to fly the bunnies tomorrow or the following day at NO COST. Both will fly together, the whole "ordeal" will be complete! We're aiming for St Louis but there is a very slight off-chance that they will go to Kansas City, Mo.
IF they go to KC MO the bunderground people can help out.
If they come to St Louis - I work 3rd shift, I'm going to be coming from Rolla, Mo and they should arrive late afternoon.
This flight may happen on 1/31 or 2/1.
I may need very real help getting them from the airport in St Louis to Union, Mo 63084 where I can pick up.
Joann is taking a bloat bunny to the ER vet now but I can call her at any time if anything can be arranged.
Can anyone step in and pick up the bunnies if needed? Right now it's a standby situation - just in case I can't get off work AND get transportation. I'm in a tight crunch with work scheduling and having my car in the shop.
This is supposed to be a late afternoon flight. Joann is making calls to the pilot today to get concrete plans, we dont have exact times.
I'm going to get off here to make some calls but if anyone can help will you post here andPM me - I'll give you some contact phone numbers/email addresses.
If I HAPPEN to be offline at the time you post and if you're able to helpplease PM one of the Mods and they can pass along my cell phone number. As of now I've been up for almost 24 hours andmy head is swimming.
This rescue event is going to be in the media, helping promote Save A Bunny rescue. We're scrambling NOW to get this to go through so coverage can be secured. The coverage will take place in either San Francisco or Denver Colorado (where flights will connect).
I'm just panicked right now and need any possible options available to be on "standby" just in case.
I just calleded Joann back trying to figure this out. By the time everything is said and done either she or I will be a complete basket case.
