You should see the way my Mum starts sweeping and cleaning the kitchen floor whenever we have a visitor!

We have Sky+ too, I couldn't live without it! We got the Sky+ box (we got one that was not at that time released to the public, plus with twice the storage space) for free because we complained and threatened to go to Telewest. That is the way to go with Sky! I can't believe they want to charge you £60 to come out when the box they provided you with is broken!

However you can just do what I do in my room if you can't stand Sky. I have a Sky box and its plugged into the sky dish but I have a 'one-off' sky card in it. It was £25 and I get all the channels on freeview, but much much clearer. And I can pay £1 extra for any channels I want!

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

Oh, no way could I give up my Sky+! We never watch anything in real time anymore. It's set to record all the stuff we watch every time, so we never miss it. I love live pause as well! It's a godsend!

They didn't charge us in the end, although they wanted to- Steve demanded a manager and argued with them until they gave in! He's good at that lol.. :D

Funny thing is, I came downstairs this morning, and the living room was pretty clean! Some stray poo, but no litter or pee anywhere! It's like they knew I was expecting someone yesterday! :X

He probably did stand in it, because Barney and Snowy were SO messy that the floor was literally like a poo carpet lol. I was so unprepared I hadn't put them back in their cage so Barney ran straight up to the guys feet and was sniffing arond him! :p

Possibly the funniest/scariest bit was that at the front door he stopped to put these little plastic covers over his workboots- presumably Sky make them wear them to protect customers' floors and carpets. Everytime he went outside he would take them off and then put them back on when he came back in! I just wanted to laugh because there really was no point at all!

*Edited to remove about 400 'lol's' that really didn't need to be there! LOL!
He he maybe he wanted to protect his shoes:p Sorry i couldn't resist it. i know exactly how you feel. People usually call unsuspectedly when the house looks the worst like a nappy in the middle of the room etc. Well, as long as people don't wipe their feet on the way out you're ok:biggrin2:
