Definately agree with the no dairy approach and as much rest as you can.
Try for some exercise like walking but with a schedule like yours, it might be only possible just to keep you head out the water.

Thinking of you....
You have done so much to help me recently with my littel bunny dilemnasn that I wish I was over there and able to provide some real help. I am so good at taking care of sick people, I never used to be but as time has gone on, I just love waiting on people or doing their housework for them...hehe.

Take care...
Lisa

Today I was up before 8:30 am.....and so exhausted by 11 am that I took a nap. Boy did that feel good too..

Robin & I changed our desks around so that my big desk is in my office - we moved around NIC cages (removed some)....and really did a nice job on my office. It isn't done yet - but it is looking SO much better. I get to have my rock back on my desk (it is the one in some of my pics that says "The Lord is my Rock and my Salvation" - and I love it - it was a gift from Eric 'cause he knew I loved it. I get to have my statue of a couple back on my desk - WOO HOO. I'll even have a place for my cough drops so Tiny can't get to them now...:biggrin2: (I have been really low on cough drops and I'm wondering if he found a way to get into them before).

Bless his heart - Art is making supper and I'm probably going to bed fairly early. I had chances to "jump on" and pick up extra work today - but I chose to not do so. I do hope to pick up extra hours this week but I decided to take today for ME (and the house and the bunnies).

I now have the little frig working again in my room and it will have the coffeepot (with Dunkin Donuts coffee going) and a humidifer going too. So I'm feeling pretty happy.

I feel so stupid - I've been drinking lots of water and having lots of chicken soup - but it never dawned on me to up my vitamin C intake or have JUICE. That is changing as of today - thanks for suggesting that.

Today I'm actually beginning to feel like I'm getting a handle on this.....and I'll be able to get over it.

But if someone can come do housework - I'll never turn that down!

I'm glad to hearyou're showing possible signs of recovery! Just take it easy even as you do start to regain your strength. :)

Aww...I wish I could just drive over and help out with the house and all the moving around of stuff ya'll are doin'...

I hate living so far...

BUT...SO HAPPY to hear you're doing better. I know it's just a tinge...but it's something to hold onto. :)

Good deal about you being able to have the humidifier in the office! WOOT! That'll help SO MUCH!

How was the coffee? As yummy as my tummy remembers it? Oh, I miss coffee...but my ulcer just won't allow. (Note to self: look into ulcer treatment ideas...)

Hugs to you!!

P.S. And extra hugs to Robin and Art for helpin' you out so much...

It sounds like you're starting to feel a bit better. Creature comforts have a lot to do with that...IMO.

Try to a take multi-vitamin, too. It really makes a difference.
Lots of liquids (I drink lots of green tea when I get sick....good anti-toxin.)
And try to stick to a good/healthy diet.

And let your body tell you when it's ready to get headed back toward the norm.

Are you coughing?
If so, rub Vicks on your feet and then put a warm pair of socks on. It works!!

I'm gonna do the "Go away bad thing-ies !!!" dance for you now.....:dancingorig:
.....makes the bunnies giggle if nothing else:biggrin2:

Feel better pleeeeeeze.:hug1

Thinking of you Peg... wish you were closer so I could come over and help. Feel better and get some rest. (And really, please get to the doctor...) :sickbunny:

Thanks for all the wonderful comments and advice.

I had a great day yesterday - then today I couldn't sleep past 5 am. I got up and did a few things and went back to bed at 9 am and slept till 11. My chest is killing me right now - Art & I talked and I know I should probably go outside and get a short walk in - I may try to do that in a bit. Its probably 60 or so and a gorgeous day out. I still have 2 hours to go before work.

I'm drinking lots and lots of fluids and juice - now I need to make myself eat something. I'm sure I'd feel better if I'd eat more but nothing tastes good.

I know I should go to the doctor...and I keep saying I will if I don't feel better by this date...or if that happens....etc. Then I start to feel better and am like, "See...I don't have to go to the doctor..".

:biggrin2:

As I've been typing this, Tiny's been grooming the back of my leg ~ and I didn't even use any of the cranberry stuff today. Maybe he knows something I don't know? Nothing quite like getting bunny kisses for 5-10 minutes at a time....

Peg, honestly, I think you need antibiotics. My husband had pnemonia a year ago, they gave him some strong antibiotics to take twice a day and an inhaler for the difficulty breathing. You don't want this to get worse. You might also need some fluids that they can give you while at the doctor.

Don't wait, get that appt and go.
