Going for my monthly hair salon appointment is one of the few treats I give myself. I get color every month and a cut and colorevery 2 months. It costs US$40 for the color alone and US $57 for color and cut. I've been doing this for about 2 years now. It is my current stylist that introduced me to the flat iron. Now my formerly frizzed-out hair is gorgeous....I love my hair, lol. Yes, pampered......priceless!
Wow that's so cheap!! A half head of highlights (not sure about all-over colour) plus a cut and blowdry is £75 here... That would be.... $112!!! Your cut and colour is... £38. That's so cheap!

There is another hair salon near me that is cheaper, but they aren't that good. I had a wonky cut once and they straightened my hair with broken straighteners so it was just curly, and they said 'you'll just have to do it at home' :X Never went back there! My current salon is so nice. You always get offered a drink- tea with a proper little tea pot, jug of milk, little bowl of sugar cubes, and it always comes with a chocolate biscuit and a little vase of flowers! If you ask for coffee it's in an indivual cafetiere, proper coffee... They use all the best Tigi hair products, which they also sell very cheap, and they only use GHD straighteners. I love it there!! :D

I don't think there is anywhere nice like that here :?, they wouldn't make any money with the riff-raff that live in my town :p. I'd have to go into the city proper to find a good place.

I have lots of grey hair so I colour my hair myself once a month normally, but I think it's not liking that lately as it's not holding the colour any longer and looks frazzled.

Funny how you straighten your hair Jen, I spend hours trying to get some life and wave into mine.

Goodness Jen, your salon sounds so British, lol. Mine gets really wacky during the holidays and serves alcohol. Makes for an interesting time. The 90+ ladies get really spunky.
