I've not had it cut since March and it was driving me MAD! I straighten it most days, as it's curly, and it had got so frazzled and split at the ends...

This was what it looked like:

And this is what it looks like now!

I almost cancelled because of Snowy being in the vets etc, but Steve said I should go and treat myself. i'm so glad I did! It's about a million times softer and shinier too... :)

Just wanted to share something good for a change lol! :p

Thanks you guys for all the lovely comments! :D

I really like it, I love getting my haircut too. It feels like a nice bit of pampering. I was tempted into buying the shampoo and conditioner and 'lusteriser' serum that they used as well because they were so nice! I actually do use Tigi products anyway, but they were super cheap there :)

Fran, my hair is actually naturally curly lol! I straighten it every day.... Sometimes I leave it curly, but it goes so messy so easily....

I've not coloured it, but the first picture was taken a few days after I'd dyed it dark brown and it had come out really dark. The second picture is now that the colour's faded a bit. That's pretty much as close to my natural colour as you can get, although I've not actually seen it since I was 14 lol! :? I'm freaking out because although I'm only 24, I keep finding random grey strands of hair..... NOOOOOOO!!! :(

Mouse_Chalk you look great!!, love the fringe. I couldnt have one like that, I would get PO'd about it all day in my eyes lol.

Funny, but I can't imagine you with curly hair.

Jan
Thank you!! :)

Curly hair? Well this is tamed curly hair, but this is sort of what it looks like...

That's not a great depiction of it...

If I blowdry it and do nothing else, this is what it looks like. And oh dear God I can't believe I'm going to post this picture... It's from about 3.5 years ago, I have no makeup on at all and my hair is dyed red... But this is what it looks like if I don't straighten my hair or do anything to it besides piles of mousse!

Yeah...needless to say I prefer my hair straight and as it is now!! :p

It looks AWESOME! :pinkelepht:

You sorta remind me of someone on here now, I can't think who though :huh. Someone else with a similar hairstyle and colour.

How did I not notice you have a piercing under your lip before? I like it! I dont have anything pierced, used to have my ears but one hole closed up completley and the other got torn so it's a line rather than a hole.

I haven't had my hair cut professionally (spelling? I hate that word) since I was 6 or 7, I pretty much cut my own hair all my life, which is why it always looks like crap :headsmack.
I'd love to go get a style like yours.

You have such a lovely smile and beautiful brown eyes, I think your new hair really brings that out.

:woohoo

Awww thanks Michelle! I feel embarrassed now lol.... :blushan:

I've had my piercing for over 3 years now lol! The red-haired pictures of me, I'd only had it done a couple of days before I think, which is why I took the picture. I have quite a different style now to what I had then but I still love it because it reminds me of the past, and also it's great for fiddling with! People never believe me when I tell them but it honestly didn't hurt at all!

Michelle, if you want pampering, I'd highly reccommend going for a haircut! I love it, it's quite inexpensive- mine only cost £30 each time, and I always feel really pampered and well looked after :)

I think I have wrecked my hair and not sure what to do with it, so I might have to go get it done. I have a slight fear of hairdressers, long story :p. I let my hair grow down to almost my bum at once stage because I refused to see a hairdresser, and was too scared to cut it myself, haha!

30 pounds, that's $83 here! That's our powerbill for a month ! Hmm, I might think on it, could be nice to have someone else hack off my split ends for a change. Must be the Scottish in me but I hate to pay for something I can do myself.

Don't be embarrassed either! At least you're not a henious looking cow like me and can post pics, haha :p.

Going for my monthly hair salon appointment is one of the few treats I give myself. I get color every month and a cut and colorevery 2 months. It costs US$40 for the color alone and US $57 for color and cut. I've been doing this for about 2 years now. It is my current stylist that introduced me to the flat iron. Now my formerly frizzed-out hair is gorgeous....I love my hair, lol. Yes, pampered......priceless!
