Dortmund got fixed yesterday. Today on his perch was a pile of poops. Normally his poop is firm and round but today they were sticky and weirdly shaped. I assume this is due to the surgery and medication he had yesterday?

Do they come in clusters and smell strongly? Are there normal poos also in his litterbox?
If so those might be his cecotropes, normally he eats them all and you never see them, but if he has a cone around his head he is simply unable to reach his behind that's why you see them.

Having problems with posting images but you can google excessive cecotropes and you'll find there a plenty of images.
If all his poos are different it could be something else, photo would help.
