Human & Bun Bonding Breakthrough!!!!!

Well, I have had Edie Rabbit for 4 months now, and tonight she did something extraordinary that she has NEVER done. I was sitting in our lounge chairwith her placed on the ottoman watching football andshe actually climbed into my lap! She has laid her head on my husband's leg before whenever we put her up there, but this is the first time that she hasgone this far, so I was thrilled! :biggrin2:

Then, to shock me even further, shescrambled upto my chest and plopped herself right down and her little head was right next to my face! She sat there for a good 10 minutes staring at me and let me pet her. She didn't seem scared at all!!!! She has only climbed on my lap twice in the past four months and both times were when I was sitting in her pen with her! Maybe she will bond with us afterall.

I have also noticed that she has started to come up to get her noggin petted whenever I walk into the garage to visit with her...but that could be because she thinks I have food. She certainly does LOVE to eat! But I will take what I can get.

Sounds like she has learned that you are going to take care of her and love her forever. She did go through a lot and she's probably just been nervous about it all.

She does seem to be very fond of you! snuggling up on your chest is a big deal I think!
