How to spend time with buns!

So, I have a bit of a problem, I can never seem to nake my buns spend time with me! I have to open a door to the bunny room so I open the door give them pellets, sweep, give them hay,etc. And maybe occasionally a treat or two, since before I would give them soo much, then I sit down with them they either eat the pellets or go right around me and into the room with the door open and I know people say handfeeding but theres only so many thing in my house that can be fed in large quantities. I cant have the door closed or else it gets hot and muggy, so what can I do?

ALSO another dilemma my other bun Blueberry is a very shy and skittish bunny, the only time I can pet him is if Im handfeeding him a bit of his daily veggies from the bowl.

ALSO Whenever I walk in the room my buns come running up to me..for treats they come and claw at my hands so I've been trying to pet them to show them whenever I walk in the room its not just treats if they see I dont have treats they hop away from me how can I get them to stop

Can you use something to block the doorway and keep them in the room with you without closing off air flow, such as a sheet of wood or baby gate? Then get on the floor and let them explore and get used to you. When you pet them, pet their heads and ears. It may take some time before they let you pet them though, if they're not very comfortable with it. If they're used to you giving them treats, it might also take a while for them to figure out that's changed.

Just relax in their room. Take a book or a computer or something and go in then ignore them. They'll get curious and eventually come over and then they'll nudge or bow and demand to be groom and you'll know you've struck gold

I do assignments and my buns just hop on my back (I lay on my bed and go on my laptop) they sometimes get mad and try to eat my laptop or they thump on the keyboard which is actually so cute

I also just sit with them and watch them which is a bit creepy but yeah haahah

It took me and my bun close to 10months to get to the point he'd let me pet him. So don't give up!

I just would sit on the floor and not bother Lucky. I would let him do his own thing and eventually he would come by me to check me out and see what I was doing. I would let him sniff me and climb up on me if he wanted. I would also keep his toys near by and I would roll a ball with him when he came close. It just takes a little time for some animals to warm up. :3

You need to bond with them have paitrnce
It took me almost 3 months before my rabbit , Cinder, would let me pet her or even get close to her! Even now if I do anything not to her liking she won't let me touch her for a couple days until ice " reproven my trust" but then again it's kind of her personality... She's very sensitive, but she is always underfoot when we arent cuddling!

I know people say handfeeding but theres only so many thing in my house that can be fed in large quantities.

Try something like parsley or cilantro, which have a distinct flavor bunnies love, and are naturally in small leaves with long stems. You can feed them one stalk at a time, and the bunny will sit there or jump into your lap to get more. Best of all, there's no reason not to feed all the bunny wants, since it's just greens, no sugar.
