How to Keep a water bottle to not freeze in thewinter? How do i do this.....???I will have the actuale bottle insidethe hut so it has a less chanse of freezing..but what should i do????:?

Do NOT use water bottles during very cold wintermonths. The metal font freezes nearly instantly -- wellbefore water in the bottle will begin to freeze.

Use crocks and give a little extra treat such as apple or carrot to provide additional moisture.

Use warm water. Although warm water contains less oxygen andis said to sometimes freeze faster, the different is negligible and therabbit is more likely to drink more of the warm water than cold in thewinter.

The cover will stop the water in the bottle from freezing, but theprimary issue is the metal water font freezing. The bottlecover won't help.

HeatedWater Dish on Ebay

Many people have 2 dishes and switch them AM/PM to thaw when the newone is put out. You can also dip the frozen one in a warmbucket of water.

Be cautious using the electric dishes because the rabbit will chew the cord if within reach.
