Currently, we have 17 pressies under our tree. They won't be there for long, though, because we have to send out five of them to Oklahoma to Will's mom/brother/nieces, and two have to go to the other side of Wisconsin for my sister & nephew.

I have yet to get my sister's boyfriend a gift... Crap. I also have to get one for my brother-in-law.

One of the presents is my other nephew's (lives closer) birthday present. He was born New Year's Day, so I just throw his birthday present under the tree to make it look like more lol

We now have 6,

One for my friend, her brother, Sparky, and two for my bros gf

Also theres a card in the tree for my cousin.

Hehe, shes.. 12 and I got her a Laz Senza card...

Just to see how red she gets..:D

I have six presents currently under my tree (they're all for my son and his girlfriend, Brooke).

Oh, and one dog.

My dog has decided that the most comfortable place in the house to curl up and snooze is under the tree. Problem is, she often stands up and circles, stands up and circles, stands up and circles...and every time she does she bangs into the lower branches of the tree. Now, considering I put the tree up by myself, and said tree is 3 feet taller than me, there's no guarantees that one of these times when Kaya does her stand and circle bit, the tree won't decide to come crashing down on top of her. :? Why can't dogs sleep in their nice comfy-cozy expensive plush beds like they're supposed to? (Bozo-mutt.) All I can say is, if that tree comes down, it's staying down. We'll just watch tv as we peer through it's sticky sap-laden branches.

And my cat - who for the past several years has taken no interest at all in catnip-laced toys (hence my reason for no longer buying him any) - has now decided that the bestest, most perfect present in the world is the little catnip mouse I purchased for Brooke's cats. I've put that sucker in bags, on the end table, on a higher table, in the kitchen...he always manages to find it and tries to chew it away from the cardboard it's attached to. I even caught him one day climbing to the top shelf over my computer desk to snatch it from there, where I figured he'd never find it. Fourteen years old, and NOW he decides these things are fun. Maybe I'm living with a senile cat...:foreheadsmack:

Uhhh...what tree :p? We just moved and didn't bother with a tree. I am a tad disappointed because this is our first christmas having our own house.

I got Ryan a food processor and that is it. He got me the Twilight book set and a furminator. We will just open them at his mom's house because we are going over there christmas morning.

Dad and Kelly usually get us a "big money" gift card to Walmart :D.

No tree this year. We've got two presents that Jason's step-mom bought from QVC and had shipped to us a few weeks ago. (Waiting to open them.) He and I got each other one thing, he got me a book and I got him a computer game, which won't appear in the living room until christmas eve or day.

The bunny's gift arrived, so it's up on a chair out of reach for now. I was going to give it to them early, but decided they can wait!

I've been avoiding this thread for so long because we're not doing a tree this year and I figured I'd be strange. So nice though to see we're not alone.

This year we're not doing a lot for presents either....and we've already opened a lot of them. For instance - Eric (who lives 200 miles away) wanted a new bathrobe and a new Bible with wide margins for writing in - he's currently enjoying them both. Art wanted a new video card - which he's loving. Robin wanted some special knitting needles - they're on their way. She also got $50 worth of yarn....on its way. The books I ordered as a surprise for Art - already wound up giving them to him.

This will sound bad -but Art & Robin haven't bought me a thing - largely 'cause I got myself a bunch of new clothes recently and a new Bible and stuff. There is something I'd like Art to get me - but I'll have to be the one to order it online 'cause he doesn't do all that stuff normally.

Mom sent us cheese for Art and baklava for me (she sent me baklava twice)....and I found out she's sent me a $200 check. I'm seriously considering cashing the check and buying us some new bedding and towels and stuff in January when they go on sale....because I'm wanting to spruce up the house.

Anyway - that's pretty much it here. We will have a ham dinner for Christmas and we hope to play our computer game online as a family since Eric can't come down for Christmas (he works the next day).

Funny thing is....except for me feeling guilty for us being strange - we're all pretty much ok with it. We're together (mostly) and that is what really counts.

I'm really hoping to spend this week (I only work today) getting a lot of the house in order and making plans for getting into a routine for housework and stuff this next year....if that would happen and Art and Robin help me - that would be the most awesome Christmas gift I could imagine!

At first when I voted last time I said no tree. Now I voted for five presents under it!

Ok now we have more then 1.

We have,

Two for Tracy

Once for Eric ( Shows who we love the most eh ? lol jk )

One for my other brother

One for my brothers aunt who i'm going to a christmas party at her house.

One for my mom from her bf.

Threemini bags with gift cards in them for Mom's Bf's Son

One for my besties brother ... Hehe

One for Sparky.

Oh.. A card ( on tree ) with gift certificate to La Senza for my 13 year old cousin..

The only reason I got it for her is because she makes my uncles fiance buy them and she's to tomboy to do it herself.. hehe.
