Ones from friends that don't get sent to Santa stay under the tree but ones that are from closer friends and family that ARE sent to 'Santa' magically appear on Christmas morning in our big stockings so... I will go count hold on!!

Currently we have 13 Presents under our tree :D

I have 1, for Sparky.

I usually will just keep all the presents needing wrapping in my room and whenever mom goes out i'll take a few out to wrap.. since my room isnt that large.

I got a card from my Nanny. I opend it becauseI knew she'd call and ask if I liked what was inside and ever since I was 8 she's been sending me Giftcards so I opend it.. but I'm not allowed to spend it until after the holidays.. So thatson the counter because my 'Godzilla' (Sparky) shakes the tree and he'd love to bite on it :grumpy:

I just counted Sparky's because thats the only one actually under the tree..

None cause we have little kids in our family and they just open them all, we usually just open our presents as soon as we get them lol.

None under the tree for me! I have instituted a "no presents" ban on Xmas - the only gifts we do are things with each other instead of material stuff. Except for the lil kids - cause my little brothers (9, 7 and 5) would kill me if I showed up to their house empty handed.

None - we got a present for our vet clinic, a tower from Cheryl's Cookies.

We send them something from Cheryl or Harry and David every Christmas and in the spring because they really do go the extra mile for us. In the summer we usually have one day when we deliver lunch to them, pizza and salad, barbecue ribs, chicken, etc. It's something small we can do for the excellent care and service to our 18 animals. Our vet even makes house calls here which is a huge help with so many animals.

Other than a cash gift to Pastor, we decided to not exchange gifts with each other. The money we would have spent on each other went to buy taxables (soap, tooth paste, toilet paper, etc) for Salvation Army to give away to people in need.

We have 7. None for me though :( They are only ones I wrapped. My Mum won't get done wrapping until probably Christmas Eve so I don't think any will magically appear anytime soon.

Fran :) :hearts :brownbunny

Well I've got a lot of presents waiting - all the ones for friends, dad and stepmum (waiting to be carted around on Christmas day!), and the ones for me and hubby that his parents and grandparents sent over from the states.

Only one problem - we don't HAVE a tree! D: I was thinking of trying to make a temporary one from cardboard or something, but still no tree. Even worse his mum sent us a really lovely handmade christmas ornament to "hang on our tree" - it's a beaded heart with a picture of us on our wedding day in it!

So now I feel bad that we have no tree :(

Worst year yet (materially wise) but realizing, to not buy for myself or the pets (they have no idea) but my Mother, Nephew and Niece are still getting their regular presents.. My Siblings are going without (we collectively said this year to just buy for the kids and Mom/Grandma)..

But that being said, feel very blessed. Happy that I can. Hope the best for you all.

The only reason Ihave so many gifts is because I buy through out the year. I also for my brothers picked up shirts when they went 75% off, so they were $4 change at the most. I ended up with like 3 each brother.

We have no tree this year. The kids were ok with it as long as we're going to Grandma and Papaw's house to celebrate the actual day. I think I'll go out this weekend and buy an outside kind of toy for them to play with, but besides that, I'm basically done (oh, except for a puzzle for my mom).

We are really downplaying Christmas this year. I didn't put up decorations...feel bad for even having had them drug down out of the attic. This year is so busy and so much work for me every single day that I haven't been as dedicated to my family. I am crossing my fingers and toes that next year I will still be teaching the same grade level in the same classroom at the same school, the same subjects. Then I'll have everything basically planned out already and can reuse my powerpoints and lesson plans that worked. This year it's really like I'm recreating everything from scratch except for Social Studies (History). sigh

OK, I'm venting in the wrong area. Suffice to say, we don't have many presents, but the ones we do have, count for a lot. I won't say what they are in case my kids hop on the forum before the big day and read this thread.

Well, none because we moved the tree out of the bunny room this year... I'm sure Bo will leave a couple if he gets a chance! ;)

none until Santa drops them off on christmas eve , after the kids are in bed sleeping with sugar plums dancing in thier heads, lol. If i put any out earlier the kids would have them all unwrapped

We have 0, but we have a few up high on the shelves other wise keith's will open them. Most of my presents are at dads though so I don't really know how many there are over there hehe.

I voted "No tree", because we haven't gone to get one yet!!! The roads are so bad here we can't even get out of our driveway! We may not have a tree this year cuz it's supposed to get worse! As far as I know, there won't be much....maybe 15 to 20.....everyone was supposed to finish shopping this weekend, but the weather is permitting us from doing that. :(
